Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders.

Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs,

tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children

and communities.

 

Activities of the Burlington Kiwanis Club:
 
  • Maintains Playground Equipment at the Burlington Community Park
  • Sponsors "I'm a Winner" program for fourth grade students at Carroll Elementary to encourage students to bring grades up
  • Provides Scholarships for high school graduates
  • Sponsors the Carroll High School Key Club
  • Organizes and sponsors Red Cross Blood Drives
  • Youth Activities such as leadership camps, conferences, workshops & field trips
  • Maintains and displays the American flags in town on special days and occasions

Carroll County Community Foundation
The Burlington Kiwanis Fund is a donor advised fund in the Carroll County Community Foundation.  This fund was established to benefit students from the community of Burlington with scholarships and for projects that benefit the community.  To date there have been four $500 scholarships given to local youth.  To make a contribution to this fund, or for more information, contact any Burlington Kiwanis officer, or contact the Carroll County Community Foundation directly by linking to http://www.cfcarroll.org/.

 

 
 

Serving with Purpose

The Burlington Kiwanis Club has been active in the Burlington Community for over thirty years.  The Kiwanis Club is always looking for new members who have a desire to serve others.  If you are looking for a way to be active in the community, please consider joining the Burlington Kiwanis.  The club meets every Saturday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 in the meeting room at the Burlington Volunteer Fire Department.  You do not need attend every meeting to be an active member.  Drop in any Saturday morning to decide for yourself if this would fit a need for you as you fit a need for the community.  Contact any of the officers below for information regarding Kiwanis.
