Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders.
Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs,
tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children
and communities.
- Maintains Playground Equipment at the Burlington Community Park
- Sponsors "I'm a Winner" program for fourth grade students at Carroll Elementary to encourage students to bring grades up
- Provides Scholarships for high school graduates
- Sponsors the Carroll High School Key Club
- Organizes and sponsors Red Cross Blood Drives
- Youth Activities such as leadership camps, conferences, workshops & field trips
- Maintains and displays the American flags in town on special days and occasions
Carroll County Community Foundation
The Burlington Kiwanis Fund is a donor advised fund in the Carroll County Community Foundation. This fund was established to benefit students from the community of Burlington with scholarships and for projects that benefit the community. To date there have been four $500 scholarships given to local youth.
